We all live and work here. Most of us were born and raised here. We like it here but we want to develop the music scene into something that can be appreciated and admired.

History of the Band

Wondernaut started in 1998 as the title of a song written by one of Billy's good friends, Shaun Taylor. Billy knew the world just wouldn't be right unless he made music under that name; Wondernaut - A traveler of thought. Billy spent the ensuing years wandering Thought, and writing music about his travels.

For 14 years, Wondernaut had been a studio project. It debuted "The Youth is Wasted" to much acclaim in 2006 with little publicity and a short fruitless stint on a small record label in New York. Now with the live experience underway, Wondernaut has built a small, but worldwide and dedicated fan base in 4 years of playing live. Expect to be dazzled and mesmerized by guys who aren't trying to be "stars", but who just want to make good music without having to work crappy jobs.

Wondernaut has not come to change the world, set trends, be hip, or indulge in "rock posturing". It's music and we hope you like it.
