- Name: Kevin Durant

Jersey Number: 35
Height/Weight: 6-9 / 215
Acquired: 2007 Draft (2nd Overall)
Of Note: Kevin Durant was a superstar standout, earning National College Player of the Year, in his single season at the University of Texas, and he wasted little time declaring for the NBA draft. Seattle made him the #2 overall pick, and he won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award in 2007-2008 by averaging over 20 points per game.
- Name: Jeff Green
Position: F
Jersey Number: 22
Height/Weight: 6-9 / 235
Acquired: 2007 Draft (5th Overall)
Of Note: Taken in the same draft as Kevin Durant and just a few picks later by Boston, Jeff Green was immediately traded to Seattle and figures to be a key young piece in the future of the Thunder. The Georgetown product put together a very respectable rookie season and followed it up with an even better second season, averaging 6.7 rebounds and 16.5 points per game.
- Name: James Harden
Position: G
Jersey Number: 13

- Name: Serge Ibaka
Position: F
Jersey Number: 9
Height/Weight: 6-10 / 220
Acquired: 2008 Draft (24th Overall)
Of Note: Ibaka, an international player from the Republic of Congo was selected by Seattle in the 2008 draft. Many consider him an extremely talented but raw prospect.
- Name: Nenad Krstic
Position: C
Jersey Number: 12
Height/Weight: 7-0 / 240
Acquired: Signed to offer sheet - December 2008
Of Note: A Serbian national, Nenad Krstic was drafted 24th overall by the Nets in 2002. He played for seasons with New Jersey, averaging 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. The Thunder signed Krstic to an offer sheet in late December of 2008, and the Nets declined to match. In his first season with Oklahoma City, he averaged 5.5 rebounds and 9.7 points per game.
- Name: Shaun Livingston
Position: G
Jersey Number: 14
Height/Weight: 6-7 / 185
Acquired: Signed as free agent - March 2009
Of Note: Originally selected 4th overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2004, Livingston was a heavy contributor for his first 3 seasons in the league before suffering a knee injury. After spending a brief time in Miami, he was traded to and then released by the Grizzlies. The Thunder signed Livingston to the D-League but very soon inked him to a multi-year deal.

A veteran and a talented defender, Mason began his career with Seattle before a 3-year stint in Milwaukee. He starred for the New Orleans Hornets when they played in OKC for two seasons and returned to OKC after a three-team trade involving the Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers on August 13, 2008.
