There are quite a few options for the best live theatre in Oklahoma City. On of them is certainly Celebrity Attractions, presenting national touring Broadway shows since 1983 and doing so at Oklahoma City's Civic Center Music Hall. Each year, there are several professional live theatre productions to entertain metro residents.

Mamma Mia! - September 2-7On the even of her wedding in a Greek island paradise, a young woman strives to discover the identity of her father among three men from her mother's past. The music of ABBA fills the humorous musical hit Mamma Mia!.
The Pajama Game - October 7-12
The Tony Award-winning hit musical based on the novel 7-1/2 Cents by Richard Bissell, The Pajama Game includes songs such as "Hey There," "Steam Heat" and "Hernando's Hideaway" as it tells the tale of the spirited, humorous relationship between a union leader and a factory superintendent.
The Rat Pack: Live at the Sands - November 11-16
A legendary evening with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas is recreated in this big band musical featuring his songs "That's Amore," "Mr. Bojangles" and "The Lady is a Tramp."
The Color Purple - January 27-February 1
Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Alice Walker and the Oscar-nominated film by Steven Spielberg, The Color Purple features jazz, gospel and blues music as it traces the inspirational story of a woman who finds joy amidst tremendous struggles.
The Lion King - Begins April 21
Perhaps the most anticipated show of the season, Disney's family phenomenon The Lion King explodes into the Civic Center Music Hall in OKC with visual spectacle and an unforgettable score that includes favorites "Circle of Life" and "Can You Feel the Love Tonight."
The Drowsy Chaperone - June 9-14
A new musical comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone won more 2006 Tony Awards than any other on Broadway. It's the story of a celebrity bride on her hilarious and unpredictable wedding day.

Celebrity Attractions touring productions are presented at the Civic Center Music Hall at 201 N. Walker downtown, Oklahoma City's premiere performing arts facility. They can be purchased by calling the Celebrity Attractions ticket office at (800) 869-1451, the Civic Center box office at (405) 297-2264 or at select Homeland stores.
