The City of EdmondOak Tree Golf Club is located to the north of Edmond, Oklahoma just off Sante Fe Avenue south of Waterloo Rd. Edmond is a suburb of Oklahoma City, located directly north of the metro on I-235 (known as the Broadway Extension).
Considered to be slightly more affluent than some other metro cities, Edmond has grown tremendously over the past several years. With the University of Central Oklahoma contributing, Edmond's population is just over 70,000.
With a recently-renovated, small town-type downtown area, Edmond has all the stores and amenities you could need. Quail Springs Mall makes up its southwestern most point, or is just south of town, depending on who you ask. And recent development has stretched the city almost as far east as I-35.
DirectionsTo reach the city of Edmond by car from outside of Oklahoma, either north or south, you'll want to take I-35. It is located in the central part of the state, and there are several Edmond exits clearly marked along I-35. For the "center" of town, take the 2nd Street exit.
If you are flying in to Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City, you will...
- Follow Terminal Drive out of the Airport.
- Terminal Drive will turn into South Meridian.
- Follow Meridian to the I-44 downtown ramp.
- Merge on to I-40 East.
- Follow I-40 East to I-235 North.
- Follow I-235 North straight into Edmond.
