2013-14 Hunting Season Dates

Those with Oklahoma hunting licenses are allowed to hunt during very specific times of the year, depending on method and the game being hunted. Here is a breakdown of the Oklahoma hunting season dates for 2013-14.

Oklahoma Deer Season Dates

  • Archery hunting: October 1st through January 15th
  • Muzzleloading season: October 26th through November 3rd (Antlerless days vary by Zone. See below.)
  • Gun hunting: November 23rd through December 8th (Antlerless days vary by Zone. See below.)
  • Youth gun: October 18th through the 20th
  • Holiday Anterless deer gun season: December 20th through the 29th

Other Game

  • Antelope Archery: October 1st through the 14th (Only in open areas)
  • Bear Archery: October 1st through the 20th (Only in open counties)
  • Bear Muzzleloader: October 26th through November 3rd (Only in open counties)
  • Crow: October 10th through November 16th, December 9th through March 4th 2014 (Statewide)
  • Dove: September 1st through October 31st, December 21-29 (Statewide, excluding southwest zone)
  • Pheasant: December 1st through January 31st 2014 (Open only in designated areas)
  • Quail: November 9th through February 15th 2014 (Statewide)
  • Rabbit: October 1st through March 15th 2015 (Cottontail & Swamp, Statewide), October 1st through March 15th 2014 (Jackrabbits, West of I-35 only, No open season on jackrabbits east of I-35)
  • Squirrel: May 15th - January 31st 2014 (Statewide)
  • Turkey: November 2-22 (Open only in select counties), April 6th through May 6th 2014 (Statewide except southern), April 21st through May 6th 2014 (Southern Region)
