Team officials
announced the name Thunder and the team colors and logo on September 3rd, 2008. The colors begin with the blue of the Oklahoma state flag and also include yellow and an orange-red for the Oklahoma sunset. See the official Thunder team logo above.
What are the Black Oklahoma City NBA Shirts I Saw?:
Before they had a name or a logo, OKC's NBA franchise played in the NBA's Orlando Pro Summer League clad in black Oklahoma City jerseys with a temporary OKC/NBA logo. Due to popular demand, the organization and the NBA gave fans the opportunity to buy merchandise with that logo and design.

You can still purchase that generic black OKC design from the 2008 summer league games, but official team merchandise with the Thunder logo and colors is now available. Select from:
