Top 5 Romantic Restaurants in Oklahoma CityWhether it be an anniversary, birthday, Valentine's Day or just a romantic night out on the town, a nice dinner is often part of the best package. In Oklahoma City, there are several restaurants well-suited to a romantic eating experience. Some of them that might make a top 5 list, such as the Coach House, are on my Top Restaurants Unique to OKC list. 1. Haunted HouseMy personal favorite for an upscale, romantic dinner is Haunted House. Tucked away in the trees of NE 63rd and MLK Ave., the Haunted House experience begins with the setting. Sit in a cozy and quiet room of the candle-lit house and enjoy great service. The menu is a bit limited in item number, but the steaks, seafood and desserts help make this a must try.Features: - Wonderful Ambiance - Top notch, personal service Information: - Address: 7101 N Miramar - Phone: (405) 478-1417 2. Boulevard Steakhouse in EdmondI've heard some people complain Boulevard Steakhouse has become so busy that the experience suffers, but I haven't seen it. This place is one of the best. With beautiful table settings, a great wine selection and a quality menu of steak and seafood, Boulevard is perfect for romantic dining.Features: - Private Dining Available - Live Jazz in Lounge on Weekends Information: - Address: 505 S Boulevard (Edmond) - Phone: (405) 715-2333 3. The Mantel in BricktownThis is the place to go on a date in Bricktown. The Mantel could just as easily be #1 on this list; that's how small the difference is in these top 3, in my opinion. It's another place with great atmosphere, having that fine dining feel while still a bit casual. The service is good, and the prices are reasonable on menu items such as steak, chicken and seafood.Features: - Catering and Private Rooms Available - Outdoor Dining Information: - Address: 201 E Sheridan - Phone: (405) 236-8040 4. Museum CafeWith the removal of Nikz from the list after it closed, I took recommendations for its replacement. Not surprisingly, one of the most suggested was at the top of my list for inclusion. Located on the ground floor of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Museum Cafe offers fine dining all the time and quite an elegant, romantic atmosphere in the evening. Plan to spend at least $20-30 for one of the fantastic French entrées, but you'll impress your date with the upscale dining downtown.Features: - Outdoor Patio Dining - Private Party Banquet Rooms Information: - Address: 415 Couch Dr. - Phone: (405) 235-6262 5. Jutta's Keller at Castle FallsThis pick gives us something just a bit different. Jutta's Keller presents authentic German cuisine in a beautiful castle setting. Visitors can eat in a rustic and casual cellar or on the Primrose Level, complete with lanterns and linens. Prices are reasonable and the food unique, a place to try for a romantic night.Features: - Catering and Party Hosting Available - Garden Dining Information: - Address: 820 N MacArthur - Phone: (405) 942-6133 Suggested ReadingBricktown in PicturesWalking Tour of BricktownOKC Museum of Art Other Related Resources & Guide Picks |
