The Bowl
The Fiesta Bowl, sponsored by Tostitos, is played on January 2nd, 2008 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It is one of the 5 "BCS Bowls" that include the National Championship game, part of the upper tier of NCAA bowl games.
Initially conceived as an automatic tie-in for the Western Athletic Conference in 1971, the game was played in Tempe, Arizona at Sun Devil Stadium until this year. It became part of the Bowl Championship Series in 1999, a rotating system that would see the Bowl host the National Championship every four years, most recently the Ohio State/Miami game in 2003.

It opened just last year, originally as Cardinals Stadium before University of Phoenix bid for the naming rights a short time later. Tickets
Tickets are selling fast, and the game is expected to be a sell-out. There are limited tickets available for $135. Call the Fiesta Bowl ticket office at (480) 350-0911. Once those are gone, you'll have to check with a ticket vendor.
Tickets from vendors and private individuals are selling for as much as $300 each in many locations.

It's difficult to say for sure how this year's game will turn out, but many Oklahoma fans said tickets were easy to come by outside of last year's Fiesta Bowl.
