The Bowl
The Insight Bowl is played on New Year's Eve 2007 at Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium. The bowl's history traces to 1989 when it was known as the Copper Bowl and the games were played in Tucson at Arizona Stadium, home of the Arizona Wildcats. For a few years, the game was played at Major League Baseball's location for Arizona Diamondback games, Bank One Ballpark.
Naming rights were sold in 1996, making the bowl the Insight.com Bowl, but the dot com was dropped a short time later. In its time, the Insight Bowl has seen teams from many a conference including the Pac 10, Big East and WAC. 2006 was the first year for an annual matchup of a Big 12 and a Big 10 team.
The Site
Sun Devil Stadium is on the Arizona State University campus and is home to the Sun Devil football team. It was built way back in 1958, but additions made in the late 1980's gave it a capacity of 73,752, the largest on-campus stadium in the Pac-10. The playing surface is natural grass.

- From the north:
* Take SR51 South to the 202 East. Exit on Rural Road and turn right. The stadium will be on the right between Rio Salado Parkway and University.
- From Scottsdale:
* Take Loop 101 South to the 202 West. Exit on Rural Road and turn left. The stadium will be on the right between Rio Salado Parkway and University.
- From the East Valley:
* Take Loop 101 North to the 202 West. Exit on Rural Road and turn left. The stadium will be on the right between Rio Salado Parkway and University. - From the west:
* Take Loop 101 South to I-10 East going toward Tucson. Take the 202 East exit. Exit South (right) on Rural Road. The stadium will be on the right between Rio Salado Parkway and University.
