The Oregon Ducks finished 2nd in the Pac-10 Conference with a 9-3 record, with losses coming to Boise State, USC and Cal. Coached by Mike Belloti, Oregon finished the season ranked 13th in the Coaches Poll and 15th in the AP.

Oregon's offense ranks 8th nationally in total yards with over 486 average per game, and their defense ranks 80th in yards allowed per game.

This season, Oregon has beaten Washington, Utah State, Purdue, Washington State, UCLA, Arizona State, Stanford, Arizona and Oregon State. They were blown out by USC, but their other two losses were by 10 points or less. Their largest margin of victory was 49 points (Washington), and their closest margin of victory was a 6 point, overtime win over Purdue.

Key offensive players for the Ducks include RB Jeremiah Johnson, who leads the team in rushing with over 1000 yards on the season, Terence Scott, who leads the team in receiving, and Jeremiah Masoli, a sophomore QB who has thrown 12 TDs to only 4 INTs.

Key defensive players for the Ducks include All Pac-10 defensive selections CB Patrick Chung, DE Nick Reed and CB Jairus Byrd. Byrd is tied for the team lead in interceptions with 4 while Reed has a team-leading 13 sacks. Also keep an eye on the team's tackle leader, T.J. Ward.
