The bulk of the best Oklahoma City hotels are located downtown or in Bricktown, but there are a couple of gems outside of those areas as well. If you're traveling to Oklahoma City or are a resident looking for a night away from home, here is a list of some of the best Oklahoma City hotels.

One Park Avenue
Oklahoma City, OK 73102

When speaking of the best Oklahoma City hotels, it usually starts with the Skirvin. Located downtown, less than a mile from central Bricktown, the historic and elegant Skirvin Hotel opened originally in 1911. After revolving ownership and decline, it closed in 1989 and was boarded up until extensive renovations resulted in its opening again in 2007. Today, the Skirvin is one of the premiere hotels in the metro. The 225 rooms have all the modern comforts, including flat-screen television, and hotel services are extensive, punctuated by the Park Avenue Grill restaurant and Red Piano lounge.

2. Colcord Hotel

Like the Skirvin, the Colcord has an important place in Oklahoma City's history. It was Oklahoma City's first skyscraper when it opened in 1910 as a luxurious office building. Untouched when many buildings were leveled during OKC's urban renewal, the Colcord underwent extensive renovations and re-opened as one of the more elegant Oklahoma City hotels in 2006. Rooms feature flat-screen televisions and oversized showers while the hotel offers fitness center, business center, restaurant, lounge and more.
