Top Hotels in Oklahoma City's Adventure District

Oklahoma City's Adventure District is one of the metro's most popular areas for tourists and entertainment. People come from all over the region to see a softball game at the Hall of Fame stadium, visit the renowned Oklahoma City Zoo or take the kids to Science Museum Oklahoma. Unfortunately, the Adventure District doesn't have a wealth of hotels and many are forced to stay elsewhere, such as in Bricktown.

But here are a couple of places within a reasonable distance, a listing with information on the top Oklahoma City hotels in or near the Adventure District.

Best Western Broadway Inn and Suites

6101 North Santa Fe Avenue
Oklahoma City, OK 73118
(405) 848-1919

Your best option might just be the Best Western Plus, and it's located a couple of miles away from most Adventure District attractions, if that tells you anything. Still, it's an affordable, three-star property with an on-site restaurant, complimentary breakfast and room service.

Hyatt Place Oklahoma City NW

1511 Northwest Expressway
Oklahoma City, OK 73118
(405) 840-5557

The Hyatt is even further west, almost to Penn Square Mall, but it's a great option just off I-44. There's a cafe inside with beer, wine and cocktails, and the hotel features complimentary breakfast, contemporary rooms and free Wi-Fi.

Sleep Inn & Suites

5200 North Classen Circle
Oklahoma City, OK 73118
(405) 286-5400

This one is about 3 miles west of the Adventure District's main stretch near Martin Luther King Avenue, but it's right off I-44 and is therefore a fairly quick drive. The hotel is completely non-smoking and has a free breakfast, indoor pool, and rooms with microwave and refrigerator.

Courtyard Oklahoma City Northwest

1515 Northwest Expressway
Oklahoma City, OK 73118
(405) 848-0808

Similar to the Hyatt, the Courtyard is nearly 4 miles from the zoo, so we're getting quite far from the district now. But this Marriott brand is well-priced for what you get, and what you get is a nice hotel with a small cafe/bar and free WiFi.

Waterford Marriott

6300 Waterford Boulevard
Oklahoma City, OK 73118
(405) 848-4782

Ah, since we're now this far away from the Adventure District that we have to drive, I might as well put the Waterford Marriott on here. It's one of the best hotels in the city and is about 4 miles from the zoo. The Waterford is a AAA 4-Diamond property with an upscale restaurant, fine suites, large event space and more.

Park Hill Inn And Suites

1400 North East 63rd Street
Oklahoma City, OK 73111
(405) 478-5221

Despite the name, Park Hill is a motel with no interior hallways and it's certainly not an award-winner. However, I'm listing it here because it is conveniently located just across the street from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, and the rates are affordable.
