Lance Cpl. Joseph L. Nice

Lance Cpl. Joseph L. Nice was killed in an attack in Anbar province on August 4, 2004. He was 19 years old. Lance Cpl. Nice was in the 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force of the Marines out of Twentynine Palms, CA.

Sgt. Ross A. Pennanen

Sgt. Ross A. Pennanen was killed when his helicopter was shot down in Fallujah on November 2, 2003. He was 36 years old. Sgt. Pennanen was in the 2nd Battalion, 5th Field Artillery Regiment, III Corps Artillery of the Army out of Fort Sill.

Cpl. Trevor A. Roberts

Cpl. Trevor A. Roberts was killed when his vehicle hit a roadside bomb on March 24, 2007. He was 21 years old. Sgt. Pennanen was in the 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division of the Marine Forces Reserve out of Oklahoma City.

Cpl. Jeffry A. Rogers

Cpl. Jeffry A. Rogers was killed during compat operations in Ubaydi on November 16, 2005. He was 21 years old. Cpl. Rogers was in the Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force of the Marines out of Camp Pendleton, CA.

Spc. Sonny G. Sampler

Spc. Sonny G. Sampler was killed during a mortar attack on the Iraqi National Guard Headquarters in Baghdad on July 8, 2004. He was 23 years old. Spc. Sampler was in the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division of the Army out of Schweinfurt, Germany.

Staff Sgt. William D. Scates

Staff Sgt. William D. Scates was killed by a makeshift bomb in Arab Jabour on August 11, 2007. He was 31 years old. Staff Sgt. Scates was in the 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division of the Army out of Fort Stewart, Ga.

Sgt. Danton K. Seitsinger

Sgt. Danton K. Seitsinger was killed in an explosion outside Ghazni, Afghanistan on January 29, 2004. He was 29 years old. Sgt. Seitsinger was in the 486th Civil Affairs Battalion of the U.S. Army Reserve out of Broken Arrow.

Chief Warrant Officer Steven E. Shephard

Chief Warrant Officer Steven E. Shephard was killed when his helicopter crashed near Taji on June 27, 2005. He was 30 years old. Chief Warrant Officer Shephard was in the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division of the Army out of Fort Bragg, NC.

Sgt. 1st Class Brandon K. Sneed

Sgt. 1st Class Brandon K. Sneed was killed during combat operations in Ar Ramadi when a makeshift bomb exploded on October 10, 2005. He was 33 years old. Sgt. 1st Class Sneed was in the 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division of the Army out of Fort Benning, GA.

Staff Sgt. Clint J. Storey

Staff Sgt. Clint J. Storey was killed during combat operations in Ramadi when a makeshift bomb exploded near his Humvee on August 4, 2006. He was 30 years old. Staff Sgt. Clint J. Storey was in the 1st Calvary Regiment, 1st Armored Division of the Army out of Friedberg, Germany.

Staff Sgt. Aaron Dean White

Staff Sgt. Aaron Dean White was killed when his helicopter went down shortly after takeoff in the Shatt Hillah Canal on May 19, 2003. He was 27 years old. Staff Sgt. White was in the Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing of the Marines out of Camp Pendleton, CA.

Sgt. Ryan M. Wood

Sgt. Ryan M. Wood was killed when a makeshift bomb exploded near his vehicle in Baghdad on June 21, 2007. He was 22 years old. Sgt. Wood was in the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division of the Army out of Schweinfurt, Germany.
