About Oklahoma City's Midtown:

The area known as Midtown in Oklahoma City is a relatively small district comprised of only a few square miles, but it is home to several OKC landmarks such as the National Memorial & Museum and the historic Plaza Court. Metro drivers might be familiar with OKC's first "roundabout" at 10th and Walker in Midtown.
Midtown has quite a interesting history, with its beginnings as a thriving residential and commercial area in the early 1900's. Later, though, Oklahoma City grew outward and many residents moved to suburbs and other areas outside of the city. Combined with difficult times for the city itself, Midtown deteriorated greatly. But as with much of the rest of Oklahoma City, a renaissance was coming. Developments in Bricktown helped spark rejuvenation elsewhere, and Midtown's potential is just now being realized.

Midtown is a 387 acre area in Oklahoma City with approximately 3,500 residents. It is difficult to pinpoint demographic information for such an area, but the City of OKC reports "the median ages for the two census tracts overlapping MidTown are 48.7 years and 35.6 years." New urban residential options in Midtown include several high-rise apartments and condominiums.
