Noon Tunes Concert Series 2013

For an hour each mid-day Thursday during the summer months of July and August, enjoy free live music concerts with "Noon Tunes" at the Downtown Library, a special event series from Oklahoma City's Metropolitan Library System. Featured are local musicians performing in a broad range of genres and forms, including music and story, piano, dance, bluegrass, classical, soul and more. See below for a full, current schedule.

Noon Tunes concerts take place from noon to 1 p.m. each Thursday during the summer months. Admission is absolutely free, and all concerts are open to the public. In addition, there are lunch tables and an adjoining cafe.

Location, Directions & Parking:

The beautiful Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library in Oklahoma City, opened in 2004 as part of the original MAPS initiatives, is the site for the free Noon Tunes Thursday concerts each summer. They are held in the downstairs atrium area.

The four-story Downtown Library is located 300 Park Avenue, between Hudson and Harvey Avenues. This is just west of I-235, south of NW 4th and a couple of blocks north of the Myriad Botanical Gardens.
Library officials note several nearby hourly parking areas such as the Century Garage and the Sheridan/Walker Garage. Get more information on downtown parking, a breakdown that includes not just the aforementioned garages but also surface lots and meters.

  • May 23: ATM Piano Triet
  • May 30: Denver Duncan, singer/songwriter
  • June 6: Albert Grey Eagle, Native American flute with Unity Drums
  • June 13: Rice Dance Band, interactive family show
  • June 20: Jim Garling, cowboy and western swing
  • June 27: Adam and Kizzie Ledbetter, eedo/soul/jazz
