The Wormy Dog Saloon
Music: The Wormy Dog in Bricktown is a favorite for live music in Oklahoma City. You'll find local bands, both popular and up-and-coming. Recent performers include Cross Canadian Ragweed, Great Divide, Pat Green, Shooter Jennings and more.
Atmosphere: It can get pretty crowded and loud in the Wormy Dog, so don't expect a sit down with music in the background kind of a place. It is a bar after all.

Route 66 Road House
Music: Living up to its name, this popular spot features blues, jazz, rock-n-roll in a fun roadhouse environment.
Atmosphere: It's a fairly laid-back atmosphere at the Route 66 Road House. With food, pool tables, darts and an intimate stage setting, it's an enjoyable live music experience.
Tickets: Tickets can be purchased online or by phone and are typically priced around $20 or so.

Bricktown Ballroom
Music: An event facility in Bricktown, this venue plays host to a number of concerts of varying styles.
Atmosphere: With a capacity of a bit over 300, the Bricktown Ballroom is very comfortable with a more than adequate sound system. There is also a dance floor.
Tickets: Usually around $15-20, tickets can be purchased by phone or online.

Biting Sow
Music: Another popular Bricktown spot for live music, the Biting Sow features great blues music from Doc Blues every night of the week, right on the canal.
Atmosphere: Small and fairly dark, the Biting Sow has some of the friendliest folks around. Have some barbecue and get comfortable as you're in for a treat.
Tickets: Not necessary to purchase tickets.

The Conservatory
Music: All ages are welcome at the Conservatory to catch a number of touring and local bands. You'll find some unique, under-the-radar bands and talented upstarts in rock each night of the week.
Atmosphere: You can often be pressed in tight with other concert-goers at the Conservatory, and depending on the music, there may be a couple of rowdy patrons at the fairly small venue. But generally, it's a respectful and attentive crowd.
Tickets: Shows typically run anywhere from $5-$15 or so, and tickets can be purchased at the door or by phone.

The Blue Door
Music: You'll find a nice mix of "American roots" music from alternative country to bluegrass at The Blue Door. Owner Greg Johnson says they place an emphasis "on the song" while hosting many leading Oklahoma songwriters such as Jimmy Webb, Kevin Welch and Jimmy
LaFave.
Atmosphere: A small music venue, The Blue Door is relaxed and comfortable. It's non-smoking, and visitors can bring their own ice chests.
Tickets: Advance tickets can be purchased online and are often in the $30-$40 range for major performances.
