The downtown streets of Edmond, just north of OKC, provide some of the better outside festival events in the metro area. One of them is the Edmond Jazz and Blues Festival, held each year on Memorial Day weekend at Stephenson Park. With great music, food and arts and crafts, this event has been going strong for more than 15 years.
Admission to the festival is free to the public thanks to a large list of sponsors that includes Citizens Bank, Edmond Historical Society, Oklahoma Arts Council, Edmond Regional Medical Center, Parkway Cleaners, Parkway Men's Wear, Edmond Life & Leisure and many, many more.

It all begins with the smooth sounds of Jazz and Blues music. In the past, the performers have been varied but always incredibly talented. Such names as Shortt Dogg, Pinkie and The Snake Shakers, Garrett "Big G" Jacobson and Cecil Gray & Red Dawn Blues Band have graced the stage in recent years.Food
