The previous version of the Oklahoma City Federal Building was destroyed, of course, in the Oklahoma City bombing, for which the National Memorial in Midtown was constructed. Its replacement, a U-shaped 180,000-square-foot structure that opened nine years after the bombing, is also in the Midtown area, at NW 6th between Hudson and Harvey.
