Yukon's Freedom Fest
The city of Yukon celebrates the nation's birthday with a huge Freedom Fest event. With free admission to all events, the celebration includes two nights of fireworks displays, outdoor evening concerts, kid's activities, a triathlon, volleyball tournament and more.Date and Times: Freedom Fest begin with a concert from Thunder Roll, the Air National Guard Band of the Gulf Coast, on Thursday, June 25th. Other activities include the "Cherry Bomb Triathlon," the "Family Fun Triathlon" and a sand volleyball tournament on Saturday, June 27th. The celebration then kicks up on July 3rd with plenty of live music and a fireworks display at dusk. The 4th will also have fireworks, of course, as well as a full day of events and activities and a concert from the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
Location: Freedom Fest events take place in Yukon at Chisholm Trail Park (500 W. Vandament) and Yukon City Park (2200 S. Holly).

July 3rd
- 5:45-7:45 p.m. - Mike Black and the Stingrays
- 8:15 p.m. - Irv Wagner's Concert Band, "Tribute to Veterans"
- Followed by fireworks
- 5-8 p.m. - Rodeo Opry Show
- 8 p.m. - Patriotic music
- 8:30 p.m. - OKC Philharmonic
- Followed by fireworks
Rules: Feel free to bring your lawn chairs. Admission to all events is free.
