July 4th celebrations around Oklahoma City are numerous with Red, White & Boom on the River and Bricktown's Independence Day Celebration being the premiere events. Other large events include Bethany's Freedom Festival, Edmond's LibertyFest and Yukon's Freedom Fest.

Bricktown's 4th of July Festival

One of OKC's favorite annual events returns in Bricktown. Bricktown's 4th of July Festival may be a tad smaller than in some years with the addition of Red, White & Boom, but there are still a number of great activities by the canal and on the streets of Bricktown, including an art exhibit, free rock climbing, live music and fireworks.

Date and Times: The Bricktown 4th of July Festival takes place over two days, the 3rd and the 4th. The free outdoor block party typically begins later in the day. Along with free rock climbing and concessions, there will be live music until midnight. The fireworks display will follow the Oklahoma Redhawks game against Omaha.

Location: Head to the corner of Sheridan and Oklahoma avenues for the Bricktown OG&E OKC Salute. If you're not familiar with Bricktown, check out this full profile that includes a map.
