Easter Events in the Oklahoma City Metro Area

There are a number of great annual events in the Oklahoma City metro area for the Easter holiday. Many churches in the area, simply too many to list here, have Easter Egg Hunts as well. Here is information on some of the big Easter events in OKC.

  • Name: Meet the Easter Bunny
    Date: March 9-30, All Malls Closed on Easter Day

  • Name: "Eggstravaganza" at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History in Norman
    Date: Wednesday, March 27th
    More Information: There's free admission to the museum from 4-7pm, and there will be plenty of games for the kids and a "giant egg hunt."

  • Name: Easter Celebration at the Orr Family Farm
    Date: Saturday, March 30th
    More Information: From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Orr Family Farm's Easter Celebration will feature Easter Egg Hunts, duck races and egg decorating in addition to all the other favorite farm activities such as the train, carousel, zip line and more. Call (405) 799-3276 for pricing information.

  • Name: Easter Egg Hunt at the Myriad Botanical Gardens
    Date: Saturday, March 30th
    More Information: From 10 a.m. to noon in the outdoor children's garden, kids 2-10 can enjoy activities, crafts, an egg hunt with prizes, a treat station and a visit the Garden Easter Bunny. They also plant a seedling to take home. Admission is $5. Call (405) 445-7080 for more information.

  • Name: "Hopabaloo" at the Oklahoma City Zoo
    Date: Sunday, March 31st
    More Information: Have brunch with the Easter Bunny beginning at 10:30 a.m. or noon. And, of course, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt. Call (405) 425-0262 for information or purchase tickets online.


OKC Area Community Easter Egg Hunts

  • Name: Moore's 31st Annual Easter Egg Hunt
    Date, Time & Location: Saturday, March 23rd from 10-11 a.m. at Buck Thomas Park Football Fields on 12th Street
    More Information: The Easter Bunny will be on hand at this annual favorite in Moore sponsored by Moore Firefighters and the American Legion. There also will be special prize eggs. Call (405) 793-5090 for more information.

  • Name: Mustang Children Springfest and Mayor's Easter Egg Hunt
    Date, Time & Location: Saturday, March 23rd at the Mustang Town Center
    More Information: Take photos with the Easter Bunny and enjoy the pancake breakfast, large inflatables, games and other activities beginning at 9. The hunt itself features over 15,000 eggs and plenty of prizes. Call (405) 376-3411 for more information.

  • Name: Norman's "Best" Easter Egg Hunt
    Date, Time & Location: Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29th at Andrews Park in Norman

  • Name: Choctaw's 14th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
    Date, Time & Location: Beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30th at Choctaw Creek Park
    More Information: Nearly 10,000 eggs will be hidden in this event sponsored by the Choctaw Public Recreation Board. The hunt is divided into 5 age groups, and prizes are given for best Easter bonnet. Call (405) 390-8276 for more information.

  • Name: Yukon's "Easter on the Prairie"
    Date, Time & Location: 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 30th at the Kirkpatrick Family Farm
    More Information: Head out to the Kirkpatrick Family Farm in Yukon for two large Easter Egg Hunts. Admission is free. Call (405) 354-3567 for more information.
