Easter Events in the Oklahoma City Metro Area

There are a number of great annual events in the Oklahoma City metro area for the Easter holiday. Many churches in the area, simply too many to list here, have Easter Egg Hunts as well. Here is information on some of the big Easter events in OKC.

Annual Easter Events

  • Name: "Hopabaloo" at the Oklahoma City Zoo
    Date: Sunday, March 23rd
    More Information: Have brunch with the Easter Bunny from 11am to 2pm. Then the kids can participate in a scavenger hunt, hear stories and decorate donuts. And, of course, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt. Call (405) 425-0262 for brunch reservations.

  • Name: Easter Celebration at the Orr Family Farm
    Date: Saturday, March 22nd
    More Information: From 11:30am to 4pm, the Orr Family Farm's Easter Celebration will feature a huge Easter Egg Hunt, duck races and egg decorating in addition to all the other favorite farm activities such as the train, carousel and more. Call (405) 799-3276 for pricing information.

  • Name: Meet the Easter Bunny at Penn Square Mall
    Date: Daily from March 8th through the 23rd
    More Information: Head out to the Penn Square food court to get a free meeting. Parents can buy professional pictures of the kids with the Easter Bunny himself. Call (405) 842-4424 for more information.

  • Name: Meet the Easter Bunny at Crossroads Mall
    Date: Daily from March 8th through the 22nd
    More Information: Crossroads Mall will also have the Easter Bunny on hand this holiday season. Head out to mall's center court. Call (405) 631-4422 for more information.

  • Name: "Eggstravaganza" at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History in Norman
    Date: Wednesday, March 12th
    More Information: There's free admission to the museum from 4-7pm, and the free event begins at 6:30. There will be plenty of games for the kids and a "giant egg hunt."

  • Name: Easter Egg Hunt at POPS on Route 66 Near Arcadia
    Date: Sunday, March 23rd
    More Information: Children under 11 are all welcome at this new attraction on Route 66. There is no cost for the hunt or the face painting, and the Easter Bunny will also be on hand. For more information, call (405) 928-POPS.

OKC Area Community Easter Egg Hunts

  • Name: Moore's 26th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
    Date, Time & Location: Saturday, March 15th from 10am-Noon at Buck Thomas Park Football Fields on 12th Street
    More Information: The Easter Bunny will be on hand at this annual favorite in Moore sponsored by Moore Firefighters and the American Legion. There also will be special prize eggs. Call (405) 793-5090 for more information.

  • Name: Choctaw's 10th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
    Date, Time & Location: 11am on Saturday, March 22nd at Choctaw Creek Park
    More Information: Nearly 6,000 eggs will be hidden in this event sponsored by the Choctaw Public Recreation Board. The hunt is divided into 5 age groups, and prizes are given for best Easter bonnet. Call (405) 390-8276 for more information.

  • Name: Norman's "Best" Easter Egg Hunt
    Date, Time & Location: Beginning at 5pm on Friday, March 14th at Andrews Park in Norman
    More Information: In addition to the big Easter Egg Hunt at night, there will be moon bounces, t-shirts, Easter Bunny photos and much more. Call (405) 366-5472 for more information.

  • Name: Mustang Mayor's Easter Egg Hunt
    Date, Time & Location: 10am on Saturday, March 15th at Wild Horse Park in front of the Mustang Town Center
    More Information: Small and large prizes are available in this Easter Egg Hunt with over 10,000 eggs. Hunt is divided by age group, and the Easter Bunny will be on hand. Call (405) 376-3411 for more information.
