Formerly known as Art in the Park, the city of Moore's Celebration in the Heartland is an annual July 4th festival south of Oklahoma City. 2012 Date and Times:
Moore's Celebration in the Heartland will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd and Wednesday, July 4. The festival runs from 5-10 p.m. on the the 3rd and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the 4th, and finale fireworks display begins at dark. See below for other specific events.
Location & Directions:
Moore, located south of downtown Oklahoma City, is the site for the annual Celebration in the Heartland. Take I-35 south to NE 12th and exit eastbound. Festival events take place at Buck Thomas Park, 1903 NE 12th Street, and the entrance to the park is on the north side of the street, just a short distance east of the highway.

July 3rd
- 5-10 p.m. - Arts and crafts, wineries, inflatables and children's tent
- 7-10 p.m. - Musical entertainment with Johnny Lee and the Urban Cowboy Band

- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. - Car Truck and Bike Show (Register online)

Food & Drinks / Rules:
There will be concessions available. Also, feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets and coolers. However, alcohol is not permitted in City of Moore parks, and dogs must be either caged or leashed. Park only in designated parking areas.
