It's likely you've heard of Bricktown, Oklahoma City's burgeoning tourist and nightlife area downtown. And that's a good thing because it's the place to go for many of the major events.

You'll find concerts, family shows, Blazers hockey and maybe even the NBA at OKC's Ford Center arena, and there are plenty of attractions to join the business-related conventions at the Cox Convention Center. Just a few blocks away, the Oklahoma Redhawks, the Texas Rangers' AAA affiliate, play at the AT&T Bricktown Ballpark.

But even if you have plenty of places to go and things to see in Bricktown, make sure you take the time to just walk leisurely along the canal and see the sights.

There are plenty of restaurants and clubs in Bricktown, and the retail aspect of the area will only continue to grow and grow.

Don't be fooled by all the talk of Bricktown, though. As you'll see next, it's not all you need to know about OKC...
