STEP TWO: Learn the OKC Talking Points

Now that you know how to get around, it would make sense to figure out where you should go, right? But before I get to attractions, food, entertainment and all the rest, I want you to be prepared. After all, you need to, at the very least, be able to drop some Oklahoma City knowledge in your various conversations.

Start with just a general and brief history of OKC, so you know things such as what a Sooner is (essentially a law-breaking settler during the Land Run) and what MAPS did for the city (See Bricktown).

If you don't really have any desire to learn the history, at least brush up on some interesting OKC trivia. Always popular for dinner conversation is entertainment, so don't forget to know about famous Oklahomans and state-related movies.
