Oklahoma City's website has a useful program that will provide you with crime and city news alerts and updates by e-mail, cell phone or pager. It's called Citizen Alert.

Registration is easy, and you can choose which updates you'd like to receive.

Your alert choices include:
  • Crime Alerts - "Be on the Lookout" information with suspects and vehicle alerts of recent OKC crimes.
  • News Releases - Important public safety information.
  • Safety Information - Events or situations requiring residents to protect themselves or their property.
To register, you'll need:
  • First and Last Name
  • Valid E-mail Address (Confirmation is Required)
  • Password (6-12 characters)
  • Security Question such as "Favorite Pet" or "Favorite Sports Team"
