Are you spending some time in
Moore, Oklahoma and are looking for some fun things to do while you're here? Well, this is a list of just a few entertaining and exciting things to do in Moore, Oklahoma.

© Warren TheatresResidents throughout the Oklahoma City metro area, and even the state for that matter, make the trip to Moore for the Warren Movie Theatre experience, and I say it's easily the
best in OKC, particularly the balcony seating option. Have an adult beverage or a full meal served to your individual, oversized seat as you enjoy a movie in luxury.

© Orr Family FarmLocated just to the southwest of the Moore city limits, Orr Family Farm is one of the
top places for kids in all of OKC. Kids and families can go fishing, ride the train, pet the animals, ride the carousel, play on the playground, sample the jams and jellies, ride the pedal carts on the Orr Grand Prix and much more. It's great for parties and special occasions as well.
Located just east of the Moore city limits,
Lake Stanley Draper covers about 2,900 acres and has an average depth of 34 feet. It offers many fishing piers, a marina, picnic areas, camping areas, recreational areas, ATV tracks and large, open water for skiing.
Of the many
OKC golf courses, the Moore area is home to a few excellent ones. Private ones include the
Moore Golf & Athletic Club and Lakeside, but Broadmoore has a good reputation among the public courses. It's an 18-hole course that is very reasonably-priced.
The Yellow Rose Theater has to make the list of one of the top things to do in Moore, OK as it's the state's only full-time, professional dinner theater. The "Whodunit" murder mystery dinners are a lot of fun, and there is a nice variety of entertaining performances. They're even willing to customize dinners for special occasions.
Buck Thomas Park
Of the many Moore-area
city parks, Buck Thomas is the largest and has the most to offer. It features, just to name a few things, a skate park, athletic fields, a walking trail, picnic areas, pavilions, playgrounds and more.
KidsPlay Moore
And here's another one for the kids. If Buck Thomas Park above doesn't have a playground to impress them, try this. Located at Fairmoore Park and completed in late spring of 2000, KidsPlay Moore is an 11,000 square-foot playground built by volunteers and actually designed by children.
