One of the top casinos
in the Oklahoma City area, the Lucky Star Casino, just outside of El Reno, opened in the mid-1990's and offers over 1,000 electronic games and slots, including many of the Vegas-style favorites. Heritage Express TrolleyThe only rail-based trolley in the state of Oklahoma, El Reno's Heritage Express Trolley allows riders to tour the city, including the historic downtown area. It runs Wednesday through Sundays. Call (405) 262-5121 for times, schedules and more information.
The historic Fort Reno began as a military camp in 1874. Today, the 6,000-acre spot outside of El Reno is a popular tourist attraction, featuring tours, re-enactors, a wedding chapel and the annual "Ghosts of Fort Reno" event with tombstone tales at the cemetery.
Canadian County Historical MuseumLocated in El Reno's Heritage Park, the Canadian County Historical Museum features a number of historic buildings on the grounds including the first Red Cross Canteen in the nation; General Sheridan's cabin, the oldest standing structure in Canadian County; a hotel and a jail. Lake El Reno
With 333 acres of open land and 300 acres of flat water, Lake El Reno is an excellent spot for outdoor recreation. Water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, boating and fishing are all allowed, and the area also includes a golf course, RV park, a remote control airplane field and a motorcycle dirt track. See online

Crimson Creek Golf Course in El Reno is a challenging, P.B Dye, Jr.-designed course with 18 holes located in a picturesque setting near Lake El Reno. It opened in 1998 and has quickly become a local favorite.

Catch a movie at the B&B Theatres Reno 8 on south Country Club Road. The theater features an arcade, stadium seating and digital sound.
One of more than 10 OKC bowling centers
, the El Reno Bowl has 16 bowling lanes, a game room and a snack bar, and it features open bowling, leagues and group reservations. Go on late Friday or Saturday for the All You Can Bowl special.
