Review: I went to Sopabella’s restaurant for Father’s Day brunch. My son ordered a waffle with crisp bacon. When the bacon arrived, it was not crisp. I asked the
waiter again to bring out crisper bacon. I offered him a saucer from the table to
take the bacon back to the kitchen. Instead, he reached in his pocket and pulled
out the dirty credit card holder and placed the bacon on it. I questioned him about
using the credit card holder and he commented, “It was not that dirty.” He acted
like it was no big deal. I told him I would not expect service this bad at any
restaurant. I am a very dissatisfied customer and will not be returning. If you
value the quality and cleanliness of a restaurant, I would not recommend this place.

Review:11/19/10. Just had one of the most delightful, wonderfully prepared and
excellent dinners out since moving from Napa Valley. The wine on the list was
thoughtfully selected, the special of the night, sea bass baked and served with
Picata sauce was melt in your mouth perfect with just enough acid in the picata
sauce to be tangy but not overpowering. The risotto could not have been better, nor
could the service. Sophabell's has that "neighborhood" welcoming feel which Sandy,
the owner, completes with her friendly manner as she stops by the tables to make
sure everyone has been taken care of. I give it 5+ thumbs up!

Review: Just to preface the review, this restaurant does not even deserve one
thumb! HORRIBLE. I went in with four friends. Three of whom are waiters. To begin we
sat for literally 15 minutes with no one to greet us. Note, they were not that busy.
I had to interrupt another waiter who took a drink order for customers who sat AFTER
us. He brought us our drinks and five minutes later Chelsea our actual waitress came
over and said "Hi, Im Chelsea Ill be taking care of you".First of all..... WHY DID
IT TAKE 20 MINUTES FOR HER TO COME OVER AND GREET US WITHOUT ANY APOLOGY!! For an
appetizer we ordered the small deep pan pizza and a hand tossed pizza. She came back
and said, "the kitchen is really busy and the hand tossed pizza will take a long
time, do you still want it"? Really!!?? So we cancelled that. She proceeded to take
our order four of the five people ordered the exact same thing, the eggs Benedict
with out sausage since we are vegetarians and biscuits with gravy as our side. Ten
minutes later our side orders came out alone, which I was confused as to why our
side dishes came out with out our entrée, thats just the way they do it there. ok,
fine. But, where are our appetizers? So our side dishes for our entrees came out
before our appetizers. Then literally five minutes later they came. hmmmmm. We
finally receive our meal. One of the eggs Benedict came out how he ordered it , mine
came out with the sausage, and the other only with the eggs and none of the other
sides that automatically come with it. As Chelsea is handing me my food she says to
me "sorry the kitchen got confused with the orders" . I replied why are you handing
me my order knowing they messed it up, Im a vegetarian and obviously dont eat meat.
She responds " what do you want me to do"? Duh, take it back and fix it. My friends
meal soon came out with no sides on the plate and meat on her eggs benedict. The
waitress promptly said the kitchen got confused and she would soon bring her sides.
Five minutes later with still no sides she! asked for a fresh meal altogether moments later her meal came out. It was the same plate the waitress took with the old eggs and her sides....THE SAUSAGE WAS STILL ON THE PLATE! To sum everything up we will never go back. The service was absolutely awful and a manager never once came up and acknowledged our presence in the establishment
to ensure we had been enjoying our experience. THE END!

Review: Ordered a Chicago style pizza and got an Idabel style, complete with cold
slices of unmelted cheese on the bottom. Just returned from Chicago and paid $25
for this lesson in fine dining in Oklahoma City after paying $18 for a pizza in
Chitown that was absolutely amazing. Would not recommend if you are looking for
real Italian or attentive service.

Review: This restaurant failed from beginning to end. We made reservations for a
large group and the tables were uneven and uncomfortable. The waitress was unabel to
take ann order, drinks were wrong, food orders were wrong and cold. Even the check
was wrong and the change incorrect. I don't need to try it again to be sure, I know
it isn't worth it.

Review: I was visiting my boyfriend in Oklahoma City from St. Louis for
Valentine's day. He decided to take me to Sophabella's for dinner for Valentine's
Day. We attempted to go there on Saturday night, but the sign said it was
reservation only and based on the crowd that was there...I assumed it must be a
really good place so I wanted to try again. We tried again on the following day,
Sunday 2/14/10. We arrived around 4:10PM. The restaurant opened at 4PM and we
arrived at 4:10 PM. Upon our arrival, the staff seemed like they were still setting
up for the evening. We asked the hostess and the owner if today (Sunday) was
reservation only. The owner told us that it was, but they could seat us because it
was early and it shouldn't be a problem. I graciously thanked her and we proceeded
to table 11. We ordered an appetizer (spinach artichoke dip) which was
mediocre...but we ate it anyway. We received it around 4:30 PM. We then received
the salad that came with our entree about 10 minutes later. Finally we received our
entree around 4:50 PM. I orded the Lasagna and my boyfriend orded center cut
porkchops. My lasgna's quality did not match price that was being charged for it
and my boyfriend pork chops was about as touch as a leather coat...to the point he
had to ask for a steak knife. Despite all of that, we proceeded to eat our food.
About 15 minutes later (5:05 PM) the owner came over to our table and told us, "This
table had a 5:15 reservation and they are here. So there is no easy way to say this
but you are going to have to hurry up". I was appalled. How could she come over
there an interrupt our meal to tell us a 5:15 appt is here. This is not a dentist
appoint, its a meal reservation. It wouldn't have been so bad if the restaraunt
wasn't COMPLETELY EMPTY! There was only 4 other couple in the entire restaurant!
What kind of restaraunt makes reservation by table, rather than by availability. We
should have had our meal reduced as part of the price of the meal is the ambience of the restarunt and the fact that you can take your time to dine. If I wanted fast food, I
could have went to Sonic next door. To sum up, this was the worst dinning
experience I have ever had. Not only was the food mediocre, similar to any other
greasy spoon, over-priced pizzaria, the owner was unprofessional and rude. I will
never come back to Sophabella again! I invite the owner to visit St. Louis's The
Hill to learn how to prepare tasty authentic italian cusines and brush up on her
customer service skills as she was a poor representative of the Sophabella
organization.

Review: We ate at 3 pm after Christmas shopping. The wait staff was attentive
without hovering. The food was very good, desserts were luscious. Of course, we
were the only people in the restaurant. The pizza was really unbelievable. We will
return.

Review: I went with some friends after a recital. My daughter ordered the cheese
ravioli. She bit into one and discovered that it was meat, not cheese. We are
vegetarian and having the bite in her mouth sickened her. She ran to the restroom to
spit it out. I signaled to the waiter and told him that one of the ravioli was meat
and he claimed that it was impossible, inferring that I had lied about it. Luckily,
the remainder of the ravioli was on the plate and we showed it to him. He asked if
my daughter had "thrown up" and was very impertinent and rude about the whole thing.
He then took the entire plate away (the other raviolis were cheese) and never
returned. When the bill came, there had been no adjustment made. I had to hunt him
down at the bar. When asked what was going to be done about it, he seemed surprised
that we would expect any adjustment and said the best he could do would be to make
another order. We agreed to take it to go, and when it came out, there was a partial
order of ravioli. This waiter was rude. The food, what we ate
of it, was mediocre. I will NEVER go back to this place.

Review: Being a Chicago transplant, I've been on a mission to find a pizza that
tastes "even close" to the real thing. Found it...and better!! The deep dish crust
is amazing, fresh ingredients to top it and the wait staff was awesome! Couldn't
have asked for a better experience. A new wine was recommended, as was a pasta
dish...thumbs up to both. I've recommended to co-workers and friends to try the OKC
North location. My only complaint? They don't deliver to Edmond!!!!

Review: went there for brunch with family. I arrived early and was informed they
don't open for 8 minutes and was ushered out and they locked the door behind me.
The food was cold - none of our omlettes were correct; the steak was raw then
overcooked; the waffles were soggy; service was horrible and the owner who waited on
us was sour and curt the entire time. We will never be back.

Review: Need more waitstaff for Sunday Brunch. I'm sure the Eggs Benedict would have be great if the Hollandaise was warm. BUT.. I've had the pizza,(great) that is worth the trip to Sophebella's.

Review: (Yukon Location) I have visted the Sopabella's in Yukon for take out pizza severak tunes.
It's absolutely the best I've had in OKC in about 25 years! I'm old enough to have
had the wonderful experience of Ned's, Sussy's and Nicolosi's Ranch House pizza from
the early 60's till about 20 years later when they all closed down. The Nomad still
makes Sussy's pizza, but believe me, it's not the same. Sophabella's is different
from what you can get elsewhere because the crust, sauce and cheese have a fresh,
authentic Italian taste. My favorite is the Chicago deep dish with cheese. It's
thick with sauce and cheese and smells as wonderful as it tastes. It's good sliced
and frozen. I take out a piece at a time and heat it in the oven. Yum!!

Review: Absolutely loved this restaurant...I had a wonderful entree..the service
was impeccable and the atmosphere was wonderful! I have been to alot of Italian
restaurants and this is definitely one I will be returning to...sooner than later. I
tell my friends about it. In fact, all of us that came last time chose this
restaurant to go back to and bring other co-workers so they may have a chance to
experience such a fantastic restaurant! Wine list is impressive as-is the wine!

Review: The new location in Yukon is by far, one of the best restaurants I have
ever had the joy of experiencing. Delightful and pleasant setting with service that
was ABOVE my expectations. The Food was magnificient, the filet mignon was done to
perfection. This restaurant is a great place for a nice date!! Enjoy a great meal
and tell them Pamela Haliburton sent you and you will recieve 15% off your order!

Review: What a terrible dining experience! My husband and I went on Valentines
and were dismayed from the time we walked in the door. Our seating was terrible,
feeling like we were under spotlights; the calamari was chewy and tough; our main
entrees came out the same time as our soup and salad and the entrees were cold by
the time we got to them; the mashed potatoes looked like they came from an ice cream
scoop and were very dry; the creme brulee wasn't even done correctly. We will never
be back, nor will we recommend it to anyone.

Review: This was the worst dinning experience I have had in Oklahoma City. The
service was mediocre. The food was subpar: the bruscette had regular tomatoes on
it, the polenta was a tastless mass that was unedible, and the asparaus was
completely wilted and disgusting. Not to mention that the bar manager/wine steward
was inept and did not help us in the least when we told him the wine was not tasting
right...he didn't even try it himself and get this he told us that it was supposed
to taste bitter!!! I will never go back there ever again. Its only saving grace was
that the marinara sauce was excellent. No wonder there was no one in there on a
Saturday night...terible experience for such a seemingly nice place. I would give
it zero thumbs but no offering for that one...Do not go there!
