Review: My friend and I had reservations for early afternoon tea on June 9th. Through a series of misadventures, we were delayed until after 4:00. The staff met us with courtesy, immediately had steaming tea and scones on our table, and a full menu to meet our changed needs. Our meal was prompt but not hurried, beautifully presented, and delicious. After a harried day, we were able to relax and not only savor the food but also the experience. The MOA Café is truly an Oklahoma City jewel.

Review: My friend and I found our way for a late lunch at the Museum Cafe at around 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Mar 23rd. There were still tables of customers but staff was certainly not busy. We were given menus and drinks directly. The waiter asked us for our orders and we needed more time. So he left and didn't come back to us for over 15 minutes. He was adjusting tablecloths, chatting with servers, waiting on a couple of tables, and basically ignored us.

I had to ask a server passing by for some bread. When the bread came I had to ask for butter. The coffee served was cold and we had to flag down the hostess as she was walking by to get us fresh.

The waiter finslly took our order of caesar salad with sauteed shrimp, and a mushroom omelet with 3 fillings. We waited over half an hour for that. The salad was good but the omelet was really small for $14.00.

So, we were basically left to our own devices the whole meal, but the waiter finally came around after we had been done for quite awhile. We ordered some ice cream for desert and it took another 20-25 minutes to serve that. We were there for over 2 hours in all and charged $44.00 for our meals. My friend was so angry about the service he only left $5.00 and that was after I insisted he leave more than the $2.00 he wanted to. I am so upset that what was once was my favorite restaurant has become overpriced and the service that used to be so stellar is now non-existent.
