Review: (Posted 6/11/08) I have eaten at Mickey's on a less busy week night and then on valentine's day night. I strongly reccomend you steer clear of Mickey's on special occasions
when seating is at it's maximum. Not only does normally great service and
impeccable food slow down to hardly any service and food that takes in excess of 90
minutes but food that is also often cold and the ambience turns noisy with dropped
dishes and lots more noise from the kitchen. great service and food but only on
normal nights, not holidays, fridays, special event nights.

Review: (Posted 4/19/08) Having just moved to OKC from Minneapolis, I was really looking forward to a fine dining experience at Mickey Mantle's. Unfortunately, this place isn't it. I ordered the large fillet and mashed potatoes and both were extremely poor in flavor.
I was extremely shocked when they brought my fillet to me on a big white plate with
nothing so much as a piece of parsley as a garnish. The steak was undercooked and
had absolutely no flavor and I actually requested some steak sauce just to add some
flavor to it. I won't even mention the lobster bisque which tasted worse than what
I've had out of a can! However, if you like your lobster bisque doused in Tobasco
sauce... you might enjoy it. My wife's sea bass with risotto was the highlight of
the meal but when we order a glass of wine, I expect it to be filled at least 1/4
full for $10 a glass! Not even close to Morton's or Ruth Chris Steakhouse. I might
try it again but not at my own expense!

Review: 5 Stars for this establishment. Awsome steaks, beautiful atmosphere,
tremendous bar & lounge. I rate Mickey's amongst top steakhouses as Ruth's Cris,
Morton's, the Capital Grille, the Palm. Leave the kids with Grandma and enjoy an
evening out! Best Steaks in OKC, the cowboy cut ribeye! Best onion rings in OK!

Review: I took my wife to MM's recently. The food and service was great. Only
complaint is with the clientele. They really need to institute a dress code.
Shorts and flip flops don't belong in a restaurant where a meal for two is $150+.
Also, the music from the bar next door was too loud -- we had a hard time having a
conversation over the constant drone. Overall, great food but a disappointing
experience.

Review: We just ate their last night & the service was terrible! My husband asked
for the chicken & shrimp combo alfredo and they charged us two separate dishes. The
waiter was unattentive and unfriendly. The food was average. I have been to many
nicer steak houses and this one was the biggest disappointment yet. Go to Houstons
or Mortons instead. Much better service & food! (Even Salt Grass Steak house, a
chain, is better!).
