Announced just over a month ago, the plan for a new downtown basketball court is coming along quickly. In fact, work is nearly complete on the parking lot at Reno and Hudson across from the Myriad Gardens. The site had previously been part of the Bob Howard car lot.
A 6,000 square foot project of Downtown OKC Inc., the court will be open to the public, at no charge, 7 days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. It was approved by the city in March as a four year placement "with the option of an extension or until the area is determined to be a site for a future project."
