If you've visited zoos such as the Cincinnati Zoo, perhaps you've had the experience of feeding the giraffes, not something Oklahoma City Zoo visitors have ever been able to do. But that's about to change. Zoo officials announced that beginning this spring, a platform along the giraffe exhibit perimeter will allow that opportunity to patrons. The type of food and the price have not yet been decided.
It sounds like an excellent addition to make the Oklahoma City attraction more interactive and engaging for visitors. Currently, lorikeets are the only animals that visitors can feed.
