If you've been to Science Museum Oklahoma recently, you've likely noticed the exhibit under construction. "Whodunit: The Science of Solving Crimes" examines the technologies and methods used by professionals in criminal investigations, and it opens this Thursday, December 3rd.
According to museum officials, the exhibit gives visitors a chance to take part in a real investigation, guided by real OSBI forensics experts.
In addition, the museum will be holding a couple of special events in conjunction with the opening of the exhibit. On December 10th at 7 p.m., world-renowned forensics anthropologist Dr. Clyde Snow will give a free lecture. And on December 11-12, a special "Bright Night of CSI: Museum Style" overnight event features real crime scene investigation activities. See the official site for cost and full details.
12/9 Update: Unfortunately, due to weather-related travel issues, the December 10th lecture by Dr. Clyde Snow has been canceled. It is expected to be rescheduled, but a date has not yet been set.
