Bedlam Football 2009

By , About.com Guide   November 25, 2009

Follow me on:

What a strange season it has been for Oklahoma and Oklahoma State football this year. The Sooners, coming off a National Championship trip last season, have been plagued by injuries and are finishing up the worst season of the Bob Stoops era. But they have the nation's longest home winning streak to preserve.

The Cowboys have been through home upset losses, an NCAA player suspension saga and some injuries of their own. But they are looking at a possible BCS bowl trip.

Regardless of what has happened all season, the passions will be high as always this Thanksgiving weekend on both sides of the Bedlam divide. The game is set for an 11:30 a.m. kickoff in Norman on Saturday, and it will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest.

So... Who wins it? As I do every year, I offer my completely worthless breakdown of the Bedlam game, giving reasons why each side could win and, ultimately, my prediction on what will happen. What do you think? Give your Bedlam score prediction in the comments section below.

No matter how bad the Sooners might be this year, OSU will always be the little brother. OU by 20.

I thought Gerald was nuts with his pick, but… OSU just really didn’t seem to show up.
