OKC Pubs Among "Best Beer Bars"

There's a lot to love about Oklahoma City, but it's hardly a mecca for the beer connoisseurs. The better pubs and sports bars around the metro are characterized by good food, game options and a comfortable, clean atmosphere, the beer selection often leaving something to be desired. Well, according to DRAFT magazine, two Oklahoma spots are worthy of mention among the "Best Beer Bars in America."The first won't surprise local beer-lovers. Long a favorite in the metro, TapWerks was praised for its 212 selections on tap. Also mentioned was McNellie's in Tulsa, an Irish Brew Pub that recently opened a fantastic location at Plaza Court in midtown OKC.

Prohibition Room has 30 quality beers on the menu and all of them reasonably priced. Though they are not really known as a beer pub, they do have the largest liquor selection around with over 80 scotches and 17 gins on the menu. Not to mention all the other liquors
