OKC Weekend Highlights: 12/19-12/21

Friday December 19, 2008
The Ford Center will have plenty of great basketball this week. On Friday, the Thunder welcome the Toronto Raptors to OKC, and LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers take a visit on Sunday. But that's not all.

The 73rd Annual All-College Classic features both OU and OSU in men's college basketball action on Saturday. The Sooners face Virginia Commonwealth while the Cowboys take on Rhode Island. Tickets are available for purchase online or by calling (405) 235-8288.

Of course, the holiday celebrations continue around the metro. From all the beautiful lighting displays to the Downtown in December fun, there's plenty to with the family this weekend. And the Oklahoma City Ballet's redesigned "Nutcracker," with new surprises for the holiday classic from Robert Mills, wraps up Sunday.

The UCO Jazz Lab in Edmond once again has "Merry Memories" this weekend, the annual holiday revue with hit tunes of yuletides past and present. Michael McDonald will be at Riverwind Casino Friday night. Get venue and ticket information for both spots here on About.com OKC. And Oklahoma City players Johan Petro and Robert Swift will be at the Thunder kiosk in Penn Square Mall from 3-4 p.m. Saturday for a meet and greet.
