Time to Plan for New Year's Eve

Tuesday December 2, 2008
New Year's Eve? Come on... December just started, and Christmas is more than 3 weeks away. Well, if you want to go to one of the metro's top parties and ring in the new year in style, it's not too early to start making plans. Tickets for the Arts Council of Oklahoma City's 3rd Annual "New Year's Eve Gala" are now available and probably won't last too long.

A formal affair from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Venetian Room of the Skirvin Hotel downtown, the gala includes live music from The Groove Merchants and The Metropolitan Jazz Project as well as hors d'oeuvres, bar, a view of the Opening Night fireworks and, of course, the midnight countdown with Champagne.

Tickets are $125 and can be purchased online or by calling (405) 270-4848.
