With a variety of buttons, levers and cannons to douse you with water, new "spraygrounds" across Oklahoma City are great for cooling off as the heat of summer approaches. The list of metro swimming pools has dwindled a bit as the city has closed some recently, but spraygrounds offer a new and convenient option for many. Here are the OKC sprayground locations:
- E.B. Jeffrey Park (4432 NW 16th)
- Douglass Park (901 N Frederick Douglass Ave.)
- Lippert Park (5500 S Shartel)
- Macklandburg Park (1700 N Stratford Dr.)
- McKinley Park (NW 12th and McKinley)
- Melrose Park (7800 Melrose Lane)
- Memorial Park (1150 NW 36th)
- Sellers Park (8303 S Villa)
- Wiley Post Park (2021 S Robinson)
- Youngs Park (4510 S Youngs Blvd.)

could you please give the zip codes with your addresses. I am not from around here and am having trouble getting directions to your place because I need a zip code to do that.
Hi Kim,
If you go to MapQuest.com and just enter the address, you’ll get a visual map of where the parks are located. For those not familiar with the city, that will help a lot more than the zip code. And you shouldn’t need the zip code to get the map if you put in the address exactly. Let me know if you need specific directions for one.
Okay this may seem like a silly question. I need some reassuring because Ive heard different stories! Is the water at the spraygrounds clean and does it get filtered regularly? i would hate to think of the kids playing in dirty water! Please give me some comfort in knowing!
I don’t think you have to worry about it, Ashlee. It’s just city water, the same as anywhere else, I’m sure.
