OKC Parks Open in 2007

Monday December 18, 2006
Although no information has been announced regarding new ownership, the currently "for sale" White Water Bay and Frontier City amusement parks will be open in 2007. Six Flags Inc., who currently owns both OKC parks, said last week that they will be operational for the foreseeable future.

This is good news for OKC residents, of course. Attendance dropped at both parks last year after it was announced they would be sold. It is in our best interests as a city to support them as much as possible. The better their performance, the more attractive they'll be to potential buyers and the more likely they'll remain as metro staples for years to come.
