OKC Loses Longtime Broadcaster Brad Edwards

Always 'In Your Corner,' NewsChannel 4's Brad Edwards passed away Monday after suffering a heart infection and brain aneurysm that put the put the 58 year-old into a coma last week. Edwards had been with KFOR since 1973 and gained citywide acclaim with his popular and Emmy-winning consumer advocate segment beginning in 1981.The funeral mass for Brad Edwards will be held Wednesday morning at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on NW 18. In lieu of flowers, Edwards' family has requested any donations be made to a few selection organizations. Condolences can also be left on KFOR.com's message forum.

Very, very sad. If anyone was ever taken advantage of in OK, they’d just say they were calling Brad Edwards. I’ve enjoyed him for many years, and I wish his family the best.
