OKC Weekend Highlights

We'll start with some baseball on the weekend roundup. Bedlam baseball doesn't get quite the hype of its football and basketball counterparts, but it's still big and it takes place this Saturday and Sunday at the Brick. Tickets are available by calling (405) 218-1000 or online.

The Redhawks are also in town this weekend, taking on Sacramento tonight and Fresno in the afternoon on both Saturday and Sunday.

Del City is holding the Greater Oklahoma Bluegrass Music Society Concert and Jam at the Oklahoma Country-Western Museum and Hall of Fame on SE 29. It takes place tomorrow, and more information can be found online. Also, David Copperfield is presenting An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion at the Civic Center Music Hall with two shows on Sunday.

Ah, but all of that is just the side item. After all, Sunday is Mother's Day. You should take your mom out for something interesting, something she'll really enjoy. Take her out for a bite to eat and then to one of these places offering free admission for moms:
