If you want to save at the pump, then drive 55 and never higher. I took a trip from Holdenville area to Wakita area last week, drove 55 and got 35.5 miles per gallon in my 2005 Rendezvou, by Buick that usually get 24 mpg, that was with the vent going and not the A/c.
I got several dirty looks on I40 and I35 as people whized by me, but it didn’t add but 30min to my drive time.
