Relax and Be Pampered for Valentine's Day

Friday February 10, 2006
We've covered many of the Valentine's Day activities in Oklahoma City this week, but maybe you and your date would rather take it easy. Maybe you'd like to be pampered a little bit together and just enjoy the relaxation time.

One thing people often rave about are spas. Take a Valentine's Day trip to a spa and enjoy a massage. Many metro area spas offer couples specials and even holiday programs, but they often fill up quickly. I confess that I have never been to a spa, but there are many in OKC and Edmond especially.

After your day at the spa, continue the theme of getting away while never leaving the city. Consider an Oklahoma City hotel for Valentine's Day or even over the weekend before or after. The Marriott in Bricktown is very nice, for example. But there are many, many more. You and your sweetheart can have a night away, relax and order room service.

For those who can’t seem to get the appointment scheduled or who are hesitant to go the spa routine, spa and beauty gift baskets are a great way to go. You can give spa and beauty gift baskets to almost anyone and they can enjoy much of the same luxury in the privacy and solitude of their own homes.
