The national tour of The Will Rogers Follies: A Life in Revue opened in Oklahoma City last night at the Civic Center Music Hall, and I was lucky enough to be able to see it. In the audience as well was Doris Eaton Travis, at 101 years old the oldest living Ziegfeld girl. A resident of Norman, Travis enjoyed a delightfully entertaining presentation about Oklahoma's favorite son.

I have posted my full review of the show, and I wholeheartedly recommend the production to not just the theatre-lovers but all Oklahomans. Will Rogers is, after all, one of our own. And the show is certainly worth the price of admission.

In Oklahoma City until the 22nd, Will Rogers Follies stars Grammy Award-winner Larry Gatlin, the delightful Amy Decker as his wife and OU graduate Keleen Snowgren as "Ziegfeld's Favorite."
